Event: Lean Enterprise Workshop Series

Even the most driven individuals need to create a map to achieve their goals. When organizations decide to go lean, they need a skilled team to lead them. The APICS Lean Enterprise Workshop Series is a comprehensive and systematic approach to the lean transformation process. It is a seven-module course that has been designed to meet the demand for expert knowledge in the marketplace.

Participants will conduct analyses to:
- Decrease lead times and reduce excess inventory
- Participate in continuous improvement exercises (kaizen)
- Map the value stream
- Complete organizational self-assessment to determine challenges implementing lean
- Draft a detailed lean implementation plan for their organization

You and your organization will benefit by:
- Completing a self-assessment to determine readiness to implement lean
- Gaining practical experience analyzing how to incorporate lean into organizations
- Obtaining broad knowledge of lean enterprise solutions
- Preparing a practical project plan for implementing lean into your organization

The APICS Lean Enterprise Series is taught by the Florida West Coast Chapter of APICS, and will be conducted in the Jobing offices at 5301 West Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607 on the following dates:
- 10/27 Introduction
- 11/03 Creating a Lean Culture
- 11/10 Value Stream Mapping
- 11/17 Stability and Process Improvements
- 12/01 Just-in-Time
- 12/08 Measuring
- 12/15 Sustaining

A Lean Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who meet the requirements at the end of the series.
