Financial Incentives Available to Employers Hiring Workers with Disabilities

This training is for employers to learn how to recruit and hire people with disabilities and how your company can take advantage of financial incentives available from the federal government. Incentives include the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) NEW Ticket to Work Program.

By becoming a SSA Ticket to Work Employment Network (EN), your company can bill Social Security when it hires SSA beneficiaries with disabilities. In fact, in the first year an EN has the potential of generating up to $4,700 in financial incentives. When coupled with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, the total financial incentive is more than $7,000 in the first year for each qualified employee.

Signing up to become an EN is easy and there is no cost or risk to your company when it becomes an EN.  Once your EN application is approved, you will receive a customized CD once a month with the contact information of unassigned Ticket-eligible beneficiaries within your designated location.

Federal contractors, diversify your workforce and get paid for meeting Affirmative Action requirements!
