Blog Post: The two "haves" of job searching
posted Monday, July 30, 2007 8:55 AM
Great article by our friends at CNN regarding the two "haves" of job searching: "must have" and "like to have". The research provided by employment consultants Challenger, Gray & Christmas talks about not sacrificing the "must haves" of your job for the "like to haves" because this will lead to job dissatisfaction, poor performance and attitude.
Think about what your "haves" are for the next step in your career. Do not sacrifice what you know you "must have" for things you would "like to have". This includes money, location, opportunity, title, responsibility, etc. Remember, just because a job is offered does not mean you have to accept it. If it is not satisfying your "haves" then do not accept it. Let me know what you think................ Jobing.com has great opportunities available with a great culture and environment. If you are interested, I would love to speak to you. Please contact me at michael.black@jobing.com
