We're looking for dedicated people with the “CAN-DO” attitude who have a solid record in motivating people and maximizing the operational effectiveness and profitability, with the key to their success being the focus on customer relations. As an MIT, you will participate in an intensive training & development program that applies both E-Learning and practical application under the direction of your Store Manager and Divisional Manager.

Buddy’s Home Furnishings was founded in 1961 and is a Rent-To-Own Company that provides quality brand name products such as consumer electronics, appliances, computers, furniture and accessories to customers to help enhance their quality of life. Buddy’s engages in the rental of household durable goods to customers on a rent-to-own basis. It operates 65 stores in the states of Florida, Georgia, Arkansas and Kansas. Our future growth plans are to reach 100 store/locations mark in the next (3) three years.

As a Manager in Training (MIT) for Buddy’s your roles and responsibilities would include:

* Ensure the execution of top quality customer relations & service
* Set performance goals for store and employee
* Provide leadership, guidance and feedback in employee training and development
* Develop, implement, and follow-up all plans to increase sales and profits
* Financial analysis of store effectiveness and profitability
* Mentor to improve sales skills of all employees
* Protection of company assets: inventory, vehicles, store fixtures and employees

REQUIREMENTS:

Do you have these Qualifications?

* Excellent customer service skills
* Proficient in interpersonal communication/listening skills
* Management experience including a working knowledge of business Financials
* Basic computer knowledge/proficiency of POS or Windows system
* Organizational and time management skills
* Valid driver’s license with good driving record
* Able to pass background check both criminal and drug
