Buddy’s Home Furnishings was founded in 1961 and is a Rent-To-Own Company that provides quality brand name products such as consumer electronics, appliances, computers, furniture and accessories to customers to help enhance their quality of life. Buddy’s engages in the rental of household durable goods to customers on a rent-to-own basis. It operates 65 stores in the states of Florida, Georgia, Arkansas and Kansas. Our future growth plans are to reach 100 store/locations mark in the next (3) three years.

We are looking for an Account Manager!

Job Duties:
*Collections/Customer Relationship Management
* Basic Furniture, appliance, home electronics installation/removal; inside/outside service calls
* Sales and merchandising
* Complies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone
* Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor
* Must be able to explain terms of rental agreement to customer
* Must be able to use RSSS Computer program, input customer payments and other data entry
* Must be ablet o fill out receipt books, make journal entries
* Must be able to count and make change
* Must be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirements; must have proficient navigational skills, satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
*Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 100 pounds

Moving large pieces of furniture and appliances

Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required

Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics

Prolonged driving, standing

Must be able to work outdoors and in extreme heat

Must be able to work overtime
