Job: Part-Time Registered Nurse

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse.

Pasco County is part of the Tampa Bay area of West Central Florida, one of the fastest growing areas in the southeastern United States. It borders the northern boundary of both Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, the major Tampa Bay population centers. The Pasco Sheriff's Office is the major law enforcement and corrections agency in the county. The Pasco Sheriff's Office is the sole provider of traditional law enforcement for 89 percent of the county's land area and the Sheriff's Office operates the county's two detention centers.

This challenging position requires supervising nursing staff and patient care of individuals confined in a correctional facility.

Performance at a high level of responsibility where the exercise of considerable judgment and skill, ability to handle routine and emergency situations involving the health and safety of others, is of paramount importance.

R.N. Diploma from approved school of nursing

Current Florida RN license

CPR Certificate

Valid Florida Driver License (if required to drive an agency vehicle)
