Jobing Description
Position Summary: Responsible for management information systems and reports for Loss Prevention. Develops implements and tracks performance metrics for attorneys and collection agencies. Liaison with all collection attorneys for purposes of settlement and payment.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Skills / Requirements
Educational Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Attendance in trade related seminars preferred, i.e.: Collections, Repossession, Bankruptcy, Legal Resolution, Foreclosure, and FDCPA Previous Experience Needed: 5-7 years experience in all facets of collection, repossession, bankruptcy, foreclosure, litigation and management. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages and interest. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints. Problem Solving: Work is widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables. Analytic ability and inductive thinking are required in extensively adapting policies, procedures and methods to fit unusual or complex situations. Problems typically require substantial analysis and judgment. Solutions may include adapting existing policies and systems to address unique situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Effect of Decisions: Decisions typically can affect the work of other employees who may be doing similar or dissimilar work, but decisions typically do not affect the entire department. Computer Skills: A good working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel and Word as well as web based products. Important Notes
