Job: Golf Course Equipment Technician

The equipment technician assists the Golf Course Mechanic. The equipment technician will also be required to fill in as a laborer or operator when needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a golf cause equipment operator
Keep all equipment in good and safe operating order
Keep all cutting units sharp and maintained
Maintain a sound preventative maintenance program
Keep shop area clean, safe and uncluttered
Keep wash rack clean and maintained
Keep up with fuel (levels and lacks) and lube supplies
Keep yard and trash pile neat
Keep up with parts and shop supplies and keep orderly
Additional duties and special projects as assigned by manager

Physical Requirements:

Tolerance to lifting and moving objects (average weight 50lbs respectively)
Tolerance to working outside in Florida temperatures, cold in the winter and extreme heat in the summer
Performs physically strenuous task such as weed-eating, walk-moving, digging, etc. as a part of job requirements.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes, but is not limited to:

Weekdays: 5:30am to 2:30pm
Weekends: 6:00am to 9:00am
Additional Hours for Course Maintenance Special Projects when applicable.
