Job: UM CARE MANAGER (First Level Reviewer)

The UM Care Manager is a full-time onsite position located in Tampa. The position responsibilities include the management of medical costs through timely prospective, concurrent and retrospective review activities.

The UM Care Manager shall work in a collaborative means to promote quality care and cost effective outcomes that will enhance the physical, psychosocial, and vocational health of the plan participants. The UM Care Manager assigns Length of Stay/Day limits per LOS standards for the level of care requested.

Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of Clinical Nursing Experience

Active, Unrestricted License in the State of Florida

Certification Case Management, or a related field

Excellent oral, written, telephone, and computer skills

Positive, proactive, team-oriented approach/attitude

Familiar with URAC Standards, Principles, and Procedures
