Jobing Description
Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations the incumbent plans and directs the overall Food & Beverage operations, including all related management functions to ensure a positive guest experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
Leads and manages of all aspects of the property’s Food & Beverage Department.
Develops and administers operating and capital budgets. Achieves financial objectives, analyzes results, seeks opportunities to improve performance, and implements action plans for improvement.
Conducts or reviews detailed management and operational analyses to ensure ongoing success and efficiency within the department.
Maximizes outlets service and profitability through management and operational analyses, forecasting and staffing, effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs to achieve efficient operations.
Develops standards to ensure exceptional quality, value, and presentation of all food and beverage products served to Guests. Responsible for menu and product development, pricing, and innovation.
Recommends to senior management operational enhancements that support initiatives and promote excellence.
Accountable for all management functions such as selection, training, retaining, etc.
Coaches, mentors, and motivates Food and Beverage Team to provide an exceptional Guest experience at the Four Diamond Level. Ensures integration and teamwork for the Food and Beverage Department.
Plans and implements processes and procedures to ensure effective employee relations, Guest satisfaction, compliance with company ethics, alcohol awareness and food safety/sanitation and achievement of financial goals.
Skills / Requirements
Job Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field, and at least ten (10) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
Able to perform a variety of complicated tasks.
Must possess excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
Must possess excellent time management skills, along with the ability to forecast the time management needs of others.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to effectively coach and counsel employees.
Must be able to effectively communicate with guests regarding complaints, tours, programs, etc.
Must be able to read, understand and explain to employees technical manuals and other related materials required for proper completion of goals.
Proficient knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
