We are seeking a Community Services Coaches for our Supported Living program.

Applicants must be able and willing to work overnights and weekends as well as weekday hours.

Applicants must have a clean driving record and undergo pre-employment drug testing as well as a Level II Background Screening through the FDLE and FBI.


The position duties include:

Ensure compliance with all Center policies and procedures, requirements of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) and other regulatory agencies.

Accurately and in a timely manner, document all services provided to consumers receiving in-home support services.

Provide support and supervision to consumers to assist them with achieving the goals as listed in their implementation plans.

Complete all required employee training on an annual or renewal basis.

Complete and maintain validated certification in the administration of medication.

Accurately record all medications administered and maintain medications in accordance with medication policy.

Assist the individual to become integrated into the community by providing and/or arranging meaningful and fulfilling community inclusion activities.
Maintain a safe and clean environment in the individual's house/apartment.

Assist individuals with daily tasks they are not able to perform.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants MUST be able to work overnights and weekends and various weekday hours, possess a valid Florida drivers license and clean background and driving record.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have at least one year of experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or child-care setting, or working with individuals who have a developmental disability. College or vocational/technical training that equals at least 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or 720 classroom hours may substitute for the required experience. Licensure or registration is not required.

Applicants must be able to be trained in the areas of medication, first aid, CPR, bloodborne pathogens and HIV/AIDS.
