Job: Legal Debt Collector

Tampa statewide creditor's rights / foreclosure firm seeking legal debt collector for our Lawsuits department. F/T 10am-7pm Monday through Friday and one Saturday shift per month 8am-12pm. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated individuals with strong attendance records who will thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment. The duties of this position include telephone negotiations, asset investigation and management of an assigned account portfolio. This is a soft collections position. Collection experience is REQUIRED.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Generate outbound and inbound phone calls.

Negotiate and recognize best possible repayment plan for clients.

Adhere to FDCPA, state and federal laws and regulations.

Meet/exceed all assigned metrics/goals for this position.

Qualified applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate sound judgment and have the ability to negotiate effectively.
