Job: Development Director

We are currently seeking a Development Director to join our team!

Suncoast Center’s mission is to provide the most effective and efficient behavioral health and social support services to adults, children, and their families to facilitate the highest level of functioning of the individual in the family, on the job, and in the community. We have merged with Help-A-Child to provide additional services to those in need.

We need a Development Director who can:
Design and implement a comprehensive development program and appropriate marketing strategies. Design and implement and/or maintain a structured fund-raising program and economic resource development initiative. Oversee all grants, funding applications and renewal process of applications with the agency. Aggressively identify and maintain new corporate/foundation funding sources and maintain development, and all other duties designed for the position.

Master’s Degree in planning , public relations, finance or management.

Minimum of 4 yrs exp including knowledge of Annual Giving, Capital Campaign, Foundation/Corporate solicitations, Deferred giving, communications and Special Events.

Ability to communicate written and spoken word.

Ability to meet people, write, and edit effectively, meet deadlines and great managerial skills.
