The C# Application Developer position requires a holistic understanding of the entire development process. In that process he/she will need to fulfill a multitude of historically separate roles:
* Business Analyst with business applications experience to be able to relate, understand and make meaningful contributions to the various business requirements and regulations
* DBA (Database Analyst) with SQL experience to enable on-going changes to the Solutions database architecture
* System Analyst with C# and .NET 2.0 and 3.5 framework experience to be able to translate requirements into formal Application Change Specifications
* C# Programmer with .NET 2.0 and 3.5 experience to enable developer to translate specifications into actual programming code changes while keeping the integrity of the existing application.
* Senior Quality Analyst to enable end-to-end testing of changes performed and to communicate changes in a manner consistent with Solutions Development Process
* Level 3 Support Role capabilities will be expected to be able to troubleshoot application in actual production environments with the ability to resolve issues and develop corrective code to improve quality and stability of Solutions

The overall role of a C# developer is to enhance and develop new functionality to maximize value and quality of care in ways consistent with the Guidelines for Development and Process Improvements and with minimum supervision.

1. Minimum 6 years experience in application development using the C# toolset and technology.
2. It is required to have strong technical competence and the ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision.
3. Exposure to the Healthcare environment in general and to the Hospice services in particular would be desirable.
4. Developer needs to have an outstanding understanding of Healthcare applications, database design, specifications and user requirements.
5. Needs to have the ability to handle multiple projects and shift priorities under deadline pressures.
6. Developer needs to have strong PC skills and expertise with Windows-based software, Graphical User Interface design and Event-driven programming – with comprehensive mastering of the C# toolset.
7. Needs to have the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into user-friendly applications, targeted toward a non-technical audience.
