Job: Web Content Manager

SCICOM, the leader in offshore Business Process Outsourcing, is currently accepting resumes for Web Content Manager in our Tampa contact center.

The Web Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of electronic content for an on-line sales catalog. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing a variety of content, collaborating on content with diverse groups, ability to coach and mentor, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.


Job Responsibilities:

Ensure production of creative, accurate, concise, and highly readable page content for new and existing products that is not overly technical or obscure.
Enforce and follow established style guides to ensure high editorial standards.
Understanding and support for web user experience.
Understand interactive writing, online constraints and effective communication for the web.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear non-technical content.
Communication with all levels of management

Related degree
Excellent writing, editing, analytical, and proofreading skills.
Experience with Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office.
Strong project management
3+ years of experience writing and editing content for a variety of online products.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
A self-starter who can work independently when necessary.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong technical aptitude and thorough understanding of emerging technologies.
Requires excellent, organizational and time management skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to remain flexible in the face of change.
