Jobing Description

Designer Golf Company, the nation's leading manufacturer of golf course yardage products, furnishings and printed materials is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Sales Manager.

Sales Manager

Develop sales plans and goals for inside sales staff.

Prepare proposals, sales presentations and close prospects.

Attend and manage trade shows.

As part of management team, recommend new products and offerings.

Assist in the development of sales strategies and sales communications efforts.

Make customer visits as required.

Develop business opportunities through contacts with management companies, municipalities and new construction and renovation projects and current customers both domestically and internationally.

Skills / Requirements

Proven closer.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience selling manufactured products including 2 years in an inside sales environment.

Demonstrated ability to generate new business through creative methods.

High energy level.

Thorough knowledge of the game of golf.

Functions well in a team oriented environment.

Computer literate with knowledge and experience using MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience with CRM software such as ACT, Goldmine, or Salesforce.
