Job: Ancillary Network Executive

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the development of a quality and cost effective Provider Network that will service the medical needs of our members. It will also be responsible for obtaining provider contracts for the company. After initial development, the service and ongoing support of contracted providers is vital to maintain a proficient and educated network.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for negotiation of contract with providers within assigned area of
responsibility, to include statewide and ancillary contracts.
• Responsible for submission of complete contracts and credentialing information on
providers.
• Responsible for regular monitoring of network within assigned area of responsibility
to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Responsible for adhering to the corporate and department policies.
• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality, security, and physical safety of data on
providers.
• Responsible for distributing all Providers Operations manuals, contracts and
documentation as developed in Providers Operations Department.
• Responsible for negotiations of contracts that allow for cost effectiveness and
profitability.
• Responsible for the continuous training and servicing of our providers within the
networks.
• Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate reports.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree or the equivalent of 2 years experience in a managed healthcare
environment
