Job: Software Engineer III - Siebel

Plays an active role in the life cycle stages of planning, requirement definition, design, development, testing and support. Utilizes more complex logic than level I and level II software engineers. Plays a key contributor role in projects that are moderately complex often involving more than one system. Coordinates assignments for a programming team. Continuously learns about the business and integration of systems within.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, documents and prototypes software solutions.


• Leads project modules of medium to high complexity within the team.


• Participates or leads in the gathering of user requirements.


• Creates, executes and coordinates QA, UAT test plans.


• Participates code review sessions with developers.


• Performs as the "go-to" person on projects of medium to high complexity.


• Assesses situations and suggests systemic process improvements.


• Provides input during design sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, technical equivalent or work experience required


• 4-6 years experience in Software Development


• Siebel 8.0 (preferably call center module, Order Entry)


• Siebel 8.0 Configuration, Smart Script, Work flow, Siebel server components


• Good development experience with Siebel high-interactive application


• Siebel e-scripting


• Siebel integration using EAI (MQ, Web services) and Integration Objects


• Siebel-Genesys Integration (G-Plus and EDIFY integration)


• IBM MQ Series


• Oracle 10G


• XML, XSLT


• Exposure to Control-M and Windows services


• Exposure to JAVA and/or .NET


• General understanding of retail business preferred
