Job: QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ANALYST

The Quality Management Department of Directions for Mental Health is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, self-starter for its Quality Improvement Assistant position. This key person will be responsible for assisting the Quality Improvement Department in implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives and department outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

Data monitoring and collection

Scanning of documents and verification of information

Developing and maintaining forms using HTML, Microsoft Office products, etc

Developing and creating data reports

Create and update organizational forms and maintain master list of forms

Create and update search queries for the electronic health care record

Create and update forms for the electronic health care record

Assisting with monitoring and improving processes and data flow management

Assisting with all state and federal quality improvement and reporting requirements, including data collection, entry and reporting

Presenting data to committees regarding departmental and agency outcome measures

Assisting with internal auditing of compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

Assisting in the design and execution of projects related to quality initiatives

Assisting in the collection and entering of quality assurance information

The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks and set priorities. Additional skills include:

Must have above average skills in Windows Operating Systems, all Microsoft Office products, MS Project, and Visio

Accurate and quick data entry skills

Expertise in Access strongly preferred

Ability to produce, analyze and graph data

Expertise in word processing, spreadsheet and database computer software

Strong problem solving skills

Team and goal oriented

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Healthcare experience with quality assurance background - preferred

Experience in AHCA and CMS regulatory requirements - preferred

Educational Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciencee, Health Services, or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
