Jobing Description
The Accounts Payable Team Leader position will be responsible for coordinating all functions of the Accounts Payable Department. This position will ensures timely payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements, including maintenance of accurate records and control procedures. The candidate must be familiar with basic accounting principle and procedures, annual 1099 filing of all 1099 information reporting forms, as well as develop imaging workflow for automating and imaging of all accounts payable data to speed workflow, increase efficiency and controls. The Accounts Payable Team Leader must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position reports to the AVP of Cash Management Operations.
Skills / Requirements
Associate Degree is required preferably in accounting. The candidate must have three years of accounts payable experience. The candidate must have above average accounts payable skills, be proficient in Lawson, Microsoft (Excel and Word) software and have the ability to draft corporate policies and procedures. The candidate must be a self starter, be skilled to work under deadlines within corporate policies and guidelines and be capable of developing creative solutions to Accounts Payable and Accounting related issues.
