Job: Chemical or Food Engineer / Entry Level

We are currently seeking a Chemical or Food Engineer (Entry Level) to join our team!!!!

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:

Understand policies, procedures, technical manuals and other material pertaining to the process and make decisions when appropriate.

Assist in developing productivity improvement.

Assist in developing and preparing production methods and processes, research and implement enhancements and assist with the training of employees to ensure efficient and effective production of the organization's line of products.

Assist in evaluating, recommending and implementing changes to materials, equipment, tooling, products and processes.

Ensuring that operations are safe and effective. Coordinate methods changes with engineering, production, procurement and other units of the organization.

Assist in resolving unusual process or operating problems.

Assist in monitoring the production processes to detect opportunities for process enhancement or cost reduction.

Produce a quality product.

Identify and correct quality problems.

Conduct physical inspection of equipment and process system components.

Implement new technology when appropriate.

Learning the process here at the plant and teaching to new employees.

Training for Management.
