Description
This position is responsible under the direction of the Program Director of Case Management Services in a specific geographical area for advanced training and supervision of pre-service trainees; case specific quality management, conducting case management staffings; may manage/supervise support services staff.

Conducts staffings (Permanency, 90 day, Reunification, Closure, etc.) and provides feedback to expedite permanency for children and meet contractual requirements.

Provides appropriate staffing assessments and exercises sound decision making that follows Florida Statute, Florida Administrative Code, Policy & Procedure, and best practice.

Provides oversight for accurate, timely submittal of court documents; court appearances relating to specific cases.

BA degree required; MA preferred – Child Protection Professional Trainer certification required (must hold certification or obtain certification within 6 months).

Subject matter expertise in Foster Care and Adoptions; 5+ years experience in the child welfare system and 3+ years preferred in direct service.

This professional must have highly complex job skills; advanced verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member.

This professional requires a moderate range of internal and external relationships; a high level of autonomy; sound decision making skills; the ability to adapt and function effectively as both a leader and a contributing team member.
