Job Description

The Contracts/CMS Coordinator position is primarily responsible for managing the intake, tracking, and coordination of all operational and physician contracts for the health system, reviewing and revising all contracts within the health system, analyzing and incorporating comments from internal subject matter experts, in-house counsel, and outside counsel, managing all contracts in the contract database, ensuring proper compliance and review in accordance with the health system's Contract Management and Signing Policies and Procedures, and developing standard templates for key operational and physician contracts. Additional required skills includes drafting and writing skills and superior legal research capabilities, in addition to strong academic credentials.

Job Specific Functions:
- Analyzes and incorporates comments from internal subject matter experts, in-house counsel, and outside counsel
Facilitates and participates in meetings with customers, vendors, and legal counsel
- Develops and refines existing standard templates for key operational and physician contracts
- Ensures prompt turnaround of all contracts in accordance with published service level metrics
- Manages, prepares and reviews all contracts within the contract database
- Manages intake of all legal review requests
- Provides advice and guidance on the impact of federal and state regulatory guidelines on overall contract review process
- Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures
