The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for assisting Account Executives, Account Managers and Producers with the servicing of assigned accounts in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

  1. Prepares and coordinates all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts, including but not limited to:
    1. Applications
    2. Invoicing
    3. Policies
    4. Certificates of Insurance & Evidence of Property Insurance
    5. Endorsements
    6. Proposals for Renewal Accounts
    7. Change Requests
    8. Audits
    9. Annual Review Preparation
    10. Cancellations
    11. Loss Runs- On Demand and Scheduled
    12. Prepare Premium Allocation Spreadsheets
  2. Prepares invoices, transmittals, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders and cancellation forms as required
  3. Reviews and processes change requests in the agency management system
  4. Participates in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by the Producer
  5. Provides quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers
  6. Reviews policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy
  7. Prepares policies for delivery to clients
  8. Communicates with company personnel regarding the client’s needs and/or issues
  9. Maintains an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response
  10. Responds to customer inquiries
  11. Online quoting
  12. Orders Marshall Swift and other insurance underwriting reports
  13. Responsible for scanning communications and documents
  14. Input/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as required
  15. Provide mailroom and switchboard support, when needed
  16. Other reasonable duties as assigned by your supervisor

  6. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
  7. EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required


Required Experience
  1. At least one year of insurance experience strongly preferred
  2. High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
  3. FL P&C License (2-20 Preferred or Willingness to Convert 4-40 to 2-20)
